We were commissioned on this case by a Solicitors practice dealing with a dispute between a homeowner and builder.
The dispute was a result of alleged sub-standard workmanship in the refurbishment of a residential dwelling. The refurbishment work included new floors, large quantities of re-plastering, new flat roofing and replacement kitchen fittings.
We carried out a full inspection of all the works undertaken by the builder and referenced our findings to set standards. Our report concluded that the workmanship used in undertaking the works was below the standard expected of a competent building contractor.
