The landlord in this matter is a large national housing association. The property is a one-bedroom ground floor purpose built flat in Surrey.
The landlord appointed us to provide an inspection and report on this property after receiving a report from the landlord’s surveyor suggesting that the property required £4,200 worth of repairs.
After our inspection, we found that most of the items claimed by the tenant’s surveyor were incorrect, and those that were accurate were a result of tenant alterations to the property.
