Project Management is essentially the complete planning, control and co-ordination of a project from inception to completion.
As Chartered Building Surveyors, we have a diverse skillset which includes advanced interpersonal & presentation skills along with a healthy mixture of experience, education, practicality and problem solving. We believe these are fundamental to the successful delivery of any project i.e. to deliver the end result on time and within budget.
Project Management is often combined with our Architecture and Design service to provide a total delivery vehicle which gives a natural flow to any project.
Our knowledge of property law, construction health & safety and building regulations mixed with our technical construction expertise, ensure that the ‘buildability’ of a scheme is assessed on day one and the client informed accordingly. This potentially avoids costly delays and disruptions.
We form effective & meaningful relationships at the outset with all stakeholders, and are typically available to attend site within 1-2 days of enquiry.
There is a great deal more to Project Management than a list of services, however the following is what we would typically undertake:
(including Structural Engineers, Building Services and Smart Home Designers, Interior Designers and ECO/Green Building Designers)
We are extremely flexible in our approach and can assist in a project as much or little as required. We have a very good sub-consultant base including Building Services (including Smart Home) Designers, ECO/Green Building Designers, Structural Engineers, Interior Designers and Quantity Surveyors who we can incorporate into a Project Team if required.
We make extensive use of modern technology in order to create time savings and pass these savings to the client. All our Architectural Design is undertaken with AutoCAD, whilst our specifications and schedules of work are compiled using National Building Specification (NBS) system.
We work throughout the UK and our typical project values are £20k – £1m.
